New for 2012, the TK-9A PLUS is a phenomonal upgrade over the TK-9A in two important ways:
Firstly, although it's based on the so-called Watts® "style" platform, the TK-9A PLUS is built entirely with needle valves (high, low and bypass) - Watts® uses 2 ball valves and 1 needle valve.
Secondly, the TK-9A PLUS is equipped with a large 2" diameter line pressure gauge as a standard feature - not available on Watts®.
These two improvements essentially place the TK-9A PLUS in a class by itself since we could not find any other 3-valve backflow test kits, based on the Watts® "style" platform, built entirely with needle valves. In fact, it may be more appropriate to compare the TK-9A PLUS to Mid-West® 845-3, both models being built entirely with needle valves.
